Eligibility Criteria

There are three different posts for which 185 vacancies at ISRO are available. Educational qualification for Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer are the same. Here are the details:

Junior Personal Assistant

Graduation in Arts/Commerce/Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class, as declared by the University OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with First Class with one year experience as Steno-
Typist/Stenographer
AND
A minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography WITH Knowledge in the use of Computers.

Stenographer

Graduation in Arts/Commerce/Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class, as declared by the University OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with First Class with one year experience as Steno-
Typist/Stenographer
AND
A minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Stenography WITH Knowledge in the use of Computers.

Assistant

Graduation in Arts/Commerce/Management/ Science/ Computer Applications with First Class, as declared by the University.
WITH
Knowledge in the use of Computers

IMPORTANT: The prescribed qualification to be acquired on or before 11.02.2016

Age Limit for Applicants

18 – 26 years as on 11.02.2016 (31 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 29 years for OBC candidates). Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Disabilities; Widows; Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried; Meritorious Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

How To Apply

In order to apply for the 185 vacancies at ISRO, you need to first go to the ISRO website www.isro.gov.in. The application procedure is purely online and you need to note down the registration number for future reference. Care should be taken to provide the correct e-mail id during the application procedure as this will be used for future communication.

Application Fee

There is an application fee on Rs. 100 which should be paid via the personalized challan slip that can be obtained once the registration process is completed. After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to download and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system/link which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No., and Post Code. You can pay the application fee at any State Bank of India branch. The challan can be downloaded after finishing the online application between 21-01-2016 and 11-02-2016. Last date for challan payment is 12–2-2016.

The institute challan copy along with the completed application form and other associated documents should be send to the following address via ORDINARY POST ONLY.

All Women candidates and Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Exserviceman [EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee. However, after registration of application on-line, such candidates have to download and print the personalized registration confirmation form, The registration confirmation form shall be retained by the candidate for future reference.

The candidates who are already employed under Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies have to send a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, duly indicating their Registration Number and Post Code to
