Everything To Know About IIT JEE Main 2017: Syllabus, Date, Eligibility, Application
Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) is regarded as the most challenging entrance examinations in India. It serves as the first step towards getting admission at IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI). From 2013 onward, IIT JEE is conducted in two installments: Main and Advanced. Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has announced the date for IIT JEE 2017 in Novemeber 2016. According to them, IIT JEE Main 2017 will be conducted on February 2, 2017(Sunday).
Why IIT JEE Main 2017?
IIT JEE Main 2017 will be a crucial examination for those wishing to get admission at top institutes in India. JEE Main 2017 score is used for admissions at NITs, GFTIs and a number of other states and institutes. JEE Main 2017 is also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2017, which is the qualifying test for bachelor and integrated programs offered by IITs.
JEE Main 2017 Information Bulletin
A detailed and elaborate information bulletin containing details such as important dates, syllabus, fess, eligibility criteria, age relaxations, examination centers etc will be available on JEE Main 2017 website www.jeemain.nic.in from December 1, 2016. When To Apply
Eligible students can start applying online for JEE Main 2017 from December 1, 2016 onward. Last date for application is January 2, 2017. However, fee can be paid till January 3, 2017.
JEE Advanced 2017
Eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2017 and JEE Advanced 2017 are not the same. Therefore, it is advisable that the candidates aiming to appear for JEE Advanced 2017 check the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in for correct information.
How To Prepare
Preparations for JEE Main 2017 should have started from the commencement of your higher secondary classes. However, it is perfectly alright if you didn’t want to burden yourself with over load.
