Whenever we hear the names Atomic and Nuclear Physics, the first thing that comes to our mind will be atomic and nuclear bombs. It may be because of the hazards caused by the atom bomb explosions during the second world war. Also there are a number of atomic and nuclear reactor accidents like Chernobyl and Fukushima, which have caused and are still causing deadly impacts. But, atomic and nuclear physics are being used in a large number of developmental projects and treatments. And the scope of such studies are increasing day by day. Here we present a list of colleges, universities, research institutes and laboratories where you can learn atomic and nuclear physics in India.

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research
